A great resource for free handbell music to get children started on their musical journey!
Thank you so much for sharing/ posting. I got a set of chimes from my mother-in-law last year for Christmas. I prepared this for primary on Sunday and I'm really excited!!
So glad you are sharing your musical talents with those of us less musical.
The KP music for As A Child Of God The C on "I re-ceive special light" On the Re I wondered if you could change it to the high c with the arrow? Thanks
Thank you so much
Our Primary President just assigned us the song "Teach Me To Walk In the Light" for the Sacrament Program. Would you be willing to write in KP form with this song for bells? Thank you so much. What a beautiful song.
I have a set of musical pipe chimes from Creative Classics. My primary kids requested we play As a Child of God with the chimes. The bell music gives me a good place to start, but seeing how I am completely musicly challenged...I'm not sure which "c" chime to use? Does anyone have the chimes music with the numbers???
Is there an expanded Hobby Lobby set? I have the basic 8 note set. What do you do with those last three notes in this song to make it sound right?
Thank you for this blog! I recently bought the complete handbell/deskbell set and would like to create my own music pages for the kids so they can play songs. Did you use a specific program to make these pages and if so, can you share with me how I can use it too?Thank you!Cindy
Marie- Teach me to walk is posted.Christi- you can use these for chimes. Number 3 is middle C. Use the KidsPlay music to get a better sound and variety. The kids will need to be taught letter names of the chimes instead of numbers (or write in the numbers on the bell music). The Evans Family- I have not seen an expanded Hobby Lobby set- if anyone sees one, please let me know!
Cindy- I use CorelDraw to make up the music. It is a complex design software, so it is not for beginners. I will post a Word document with the bells on them. Hopefully you can create your own music there. If not, you can copy and paste the bells into another software program that you use and design them there. I can't sent them as a .pdf because you wouldn't be able to manipulate them. You can make the bells bigger or smaller to make them fit better on the page. Hopefully it will get you started. The only thing I ask is if you would share with the rest of us! Just make a comment and I will e-mail you back. Thanks!
We were just assigned a new song, "I'm Learning the Ways of Jesus". Would you be able to write this in the KP form?Thank you so much. If not, I understand.
This is my favorite new primary blog! THANKS!!!!! I bought hand bells for our primary last year and we've only used them a couple of times because I couldn't figure out many songs. My kiddos in primary will be thrilled to get use them more. THANKS!
Amberly, what an amazing blog and all the hours that you have given to others is appreciated! I am trying to download the music in scribd but it says I have to buy the "premium" subscription or something like that. Is there another way to download the music? Thank you again for all your work.Lisa-Marielisamariejensen@gmail.com
