  1. Thanks for all your hard work on this! I'm new to handbells though and I'm a little confused. I have the kisplay set of bells and your chart doesn't correspond to the colors or notes. Why does your chart start with the G note when the song starts on c? Help!

  2. Sorry- I had the link wrong- it's correct now. The reason it does not start on a C is because the main set of bells only has 8 bells and does not include flats/sharps. Because of that, I usually have to transpose the key signature to the key of C and then write the song. Also because there are only 8 bells, sometimes there will be notes that are an octave higher or lower instead of what is written. I realize it doesn't sound quite the same, but if I didn't do those things, there wouldn't be very many songs to play. If you need the sheet music for the piano in the key of C- go to https://www.lds.org/music/library/childrens-songbook/samuel-tells-of-the-baby-jesus?lang=eng and at the top of the music there is a curving arrow button next to "key". Click on that and then select C. That will give your pianist the right music to play with. Hope that helps!
